You may be wondering what the “S-T” stands for. Well, the original name of this blog was “Small-Town GlobeTrotter” because I started it when I moved to a small town in British Columbia, Canada, after working abroad for years. Since I’ve now returned to big-city life in my hometown of Toronto, I figured a name change was in order.

A little about me: I’m a 31-year-old, Polish-Canadian publishing professional filled with wanderlust. So far, I’ve visited 48 countries (and counting), and have lived in six countries, spanning four continents: Canada, Poland, South Korea, China, Argentina, and Sweden.

Me in Bangkok, Thailand

While I have a multitude of travel memories to share and countless tips to pass on, I am also humbled by how much I still have to learn and the vast amount of amazing places, landscapes, and cultures I have yet to explore. This blog is dedicated to my love of travel and all of the amazing experiences it has given me as an adventure, budget traveller (aka backpacker). I hope it inspires worldly exploration.

As you’ll notice at the end of some of my posts from 2015, this blog has also allowed me to participate in the #HipmunkCityLove project as a blogger ambassador.

Happy travels!
